Compliance & Testing

MCP Fixings give you the confidence that the fixings you use are safe, compliant, and ready for inspection – with clear testing, documentation, and full traceability

What We Do

When deadlines are tight and inspections are looming, we know you need more than “it’s fine”. You need evidence. That is why when you partner with MCP Fixings you will get the proof, documentation and traceability required to satisfy main contractors, without slowing work down on site

Every fixing in a safety-critical application must be backed by recognised standards. MCP Fixings ensures the anchors and fasteners you use meet the correct regulatory approvals including:

  • UKCA and CE Marketing
  • ETA (European Technical Assessments)
  • Construction Products Regulation (CPR) requirements
  • BS 8539 guidance for selection and installation
  • BS EN 1992-4 design of fastenings in concrete

We don’t send you generic documents. We provide the documentation linked directly to the products we have supplied you with – giving you confidence and full traceability

It’s not enough to assume a fixing will perform, if requested it must be proved. We offer:

  • Pull-out and proof load testing
  • Substrate assessment
  • Load performance checks
  • Detailed test reports for QA

Our testing, carried out by our qualified team confirms the fixing selected actually works on-site. This prevents failures, rework, and costly delays later in the programme.

More and more contractors are demanding traceable batch data for critical fixings, if required we can supply:

  • Batch numbers
  • Manufacturer declarations
  • ETA certificates and Performance data
  • Material compliance information

Our job is to make your compliance process cleaner, faster and stress-free. We can help to:

  • Avoid failed inspections and costly rework
  • Reduce risk on safety-critical installations
  • Ensure fixings meet recognised standards
  • Provide clear evidence of performance

Design support isn’t a one-off conversation. When the drawing changes, we keep the specification watertight. We stay with you through the full project lifecycle:

  • Reviewing changes in materials
  • Supporting design revisions
  • Providing updated technical documentation
  • Advising the site team if installation issues arise and ensuring any substitutions remain compliant
